Welcome! On January 1st, 1995, it became mandatory for all persons hunting with a bow and arrow in the province of New Brunswick, Canada, to successfully complete a Provincial Bow Hunter Education course. The course is currently based on the International Bowhunter Education Program (IBEP) and is delivered by the New Brunswick Bowhunter Education Association (NBBEA) as directed by the New Brunswick Department of Natural Resources (DNR). The NBBEA is a volunteer organization comprised of approximately 75 instructors who are both experienced and passionate about the sport of bowhunting. Since its inception, the NBBEA has trained over 4000 bowhunters in the province. Hunting and the sport of bowhunting is deeply rooted in the heritage and culture of New Brunswick and it is our firm belief that it's future is dependent upon the delivery of an effective and first class educational program. For more information on our program, please follow the "Course Info" link above. We hope that you enjoy this web site and find it both a meaningful and helpful source of information to get you started and to continue in the sport of bowhunting. |
